Statement of Faith

 I believe that there is only one true God, creator and Lord of all; that the Christian Bible is the flawless word of God (2 Samuel 22:31, 2 Peter 1:21). I believe Man was originally created in the image of God. He sinned by disobeying God; thus, he is condemned to eternal separation from God in Hell (Romans 5:12). I believe 2,000 years ago God’s son, Jesus Christ, came to earth (born of the Virgin Mary (Matthew 1:23), lived a perfect life (free of sin 1 Peter 2:22), died on a cross to pay the price for all the sins of Man and rose from the dead 3 days later (1 Corinthians 15:4). I believe that the only way to eternal life with God is to put your faith and trust in accepting the free gift of salvation offered to Man through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ (John 3:16, John 14:6). That we, as believers, should partake in the “ Believer’s Baptism” as the bible commands (Mark 16:16). I believe in the Holy and co-eternal trinity; Father, Son and Holy Spirit (1 John 5:7-12). Finally, I believe it is our job as Christians to “do the work of an evangelist” (2 Timothy 4:5) by telling the good news of God’s saving grace to the world so that others may accept the gift of salvation from their sins (Matthew 28:19).
